Far East Car Rental Limited (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") leases the Vehicle (hereinafter referred to as the "Rental Car") to the Lessee (hereinafter referred to as the "Lessee") in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Rental Vehicle is subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and the Lessee shall comply with all the terms and conditions of this Agreement and agree to and be bound by the following
1. The Lessee shall return the rental car, including all tires, tools, vehicle documentation, spare parts and equipment, to the Avis Branch on or before the specified date as required by the Company
2. The rental car is in good condition and the lessee is responsible for all gasoline costs during the rental period. The Company will provide a full tank of petrol. The lessee must fill the tank at his own expense upon returning the vehicle. Otherwise, the Company will charge a surcharge of HK $180 to the Lessee.
3. Rental cars may not be used in the following situations:
1. transporting goods in violation of customs regulations or in other illegal ways;
2. carrying passengers or property by express or implied means;
3. The rental car shall not be used to push, propel, tow or pull other vehicles;
4. Participate in any racing activities;
5. Drive a rental car by any person who is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or drugs;
6. In addition, the rental car can only be driven by the lessee or another driver who has registered the rental car, and all drivers must meet any of the following conditions:
1. Must hold a Hong Kong Identity Card, be aged 23 or above, and hold a valid driving licence for more than two years (probationary driving period is not counted). All driving licence information should be registered in the rental agreement. All oral and other non-written commitments are invalid. Persons aged 23 and above but under 25 are only allowed to rent vehicles in groups A, B, C and M and are liable for an additional damage compensation of HK $25,000.
2. Must hold a valid passport, be aged 25 or above and hold an overseas driving licence for more than 24 months (if the overseas driving licence is not in English, a valid international driving licence is required). The passport must show the date of entry into Hong Kong and a "visitor label" issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department.
